LCD controllers or drivers are encapsulated onto a standard
film often supplied as tape and reel packaged for machine
handling. This solution offers a standard package
where high-density displays are required and the Active
Area is more centralized. Applications include EPOS,
e-Book, PDA and high-resolution graphic modules requiring
one or multiple driver chips.
